Construction Leadership Network is excited to introduce Jeff Sample, a consultant at JBKnowledge, as the closing keynote speaker at the 2019 CLN Conference in Tucson, Arizona.
An expert in both IT and it’s applications within the construction industry, Sample has spent the last 19 years transforming companies through technological education.
Based in Vail, Colorado, Sample is a true outdoorsman. This passion has led to his participation in triathlons and Ironman competitions garnering him the appropriate title “The Ironman of IT.”
JBKnowledge is a Texas-based group of consultants, analysts, developers and designers that have been helping companies build the technology they need to stay competitive since 2001. Using his expansive IT knowledge and partnership with JBKnowledge, Sample aids companies throughout the construction industry by designing solutions, optimizing strategic advantages, and breaking down information silos. His signature technology solutions focus on functionality, fiscal responsibility, and the value of a secure and thriving IT ecosystem.
With his background in technology and public speaking, Sample is able to delicately decipher the generational divide that has developed as the new generation enters the workforce. As new, tech-savvy team members join established construction firms, friction is often inevitable. His message, focused on communication, respect, and skillfully bridging the generational gap, is something everyone can benefit from.
John Lehmann, CLN President, explained the reasoning behind securing Sample as a keynote speaker for the 2019 conference.
“With the continual advancements in construction technology, we wanted to bring someone to the conference that would help us make sense of it all. We found that perfect someone with Jeff Sample. His extensive experience and collaborative approach to technology in the AEC industry is sure to bring us thought-provoking discussion and insight on where the industry is and where it is going."
As if he needed more on his plate, Sample is currently serving as a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) IT Steering Committee where he assists in the organization’s momentum toward improving the quality of construction. Sample also serves as the host of the weekly The ConTechCrew podcast and participates in The ConTech Roadshow.
Sample joins a long list of topnotch speakers and presenters at the conference in Tucson, including opening keynote speaker, Jake Wood, President of Team Rubicon and winner of the ESPY.
