The Construction Leadership Network (CLN) is excited to announce that Jake Wood will deliver the opening keynote for this year’s annual conference in Tucson, Arizona. [Click here to register.]

Recipient of the Navy-Marine Commendation Medal, Jake Wood returned from his service in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Marine scout sniper to become Co-Founder and CEO of Team Rubicon, a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and deploys military veterans to disaster zones withi n the United  States and abroad. In July, Wood received the Pat Tillman Award for Service at the 2018 ESPY Awards for his work with Team Rubicon.

A leading veterans’ advocate, Wood has briefed President Obama on veterans’ issues, met with former Presidents Bush and Clinton on veteran transition and disaster response and testified before a Senate committee to improve mental health care services for returning veterans. He has also appeared in the major media, including MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC, Al Jazeera, US News & World Report, Forbes, Fox News and penned an op-ed for The New York Times.

Bill Craft is Senior Vice President of Service at James Craft & Son, a 100+ year old family-run HVAC and Mechanical Contractor based in York, Pennsylvania. Bill is an inaugural CLN member, was a long-time Jack Miller Network member and serves on the CLN steering committee. We sat down with Bill to ask him about the benefits of his CLN membership as a subcontractor.
