While learning various markup and measurement tools, several tips and tricks will be shared to increase speed and accuracy.

We’ll start by going through the standard measurement tools and settings, then move into various customization options and discuss the results in the Markups List.

After finishing the Bluebeam Takeoffs & Estimates – Basics course, we’ll move into creating custom columns, embedding formulas, and information organization.

Course Requirements: Technology & Participation
Please ensure you meet the following requirements:
- In Bluebeam Revu, go to Revu > About in the upper-left corner of the interface. You must have Version 2018 or newer for these courses. If this same window says “Unassigned” at the top, your IT department must assign you a license so you can log in and use Bluebeam. Please complete this before class begins.
- If you need to purchase a Bluebeam license, please use this referral link . Allow several days for delivery and installation before class begins. This is not a last-minute task.
- Attendance by tablet or phone is not recommended. You should have a mouse with a scroll wheel when attending these classes. In Bluebeam, several right-click shortcuts and the scroll wheel help you zoom in and out on documents.
A two-screen computer setup is recommended. This allows you to watch the instructor on one screen while practicing on the other.
