Hot damn Houston! The largest city in Texas welcomes CLN.

For one weekend in January, hundreds of construction professionals will descend on the city of Houston, TX for the Construction Leadership Network 2020 Conference. You can’t miss this.

And while there’s so much to look forward to: the peer-to-peer networking, the learning opportunities, the roster of top-notch speakers and sponsors — Houston is calling us.

What a treat for those of us in construction to
marvel at the architecture and buildings.

Houston is a great American city. This thriving metro center is alive with an independent spirit all its own. A leading cultural and culinary destination in the South, the city is home to over 11,000 restaurants, a resident operaballetsymphony and theater companies. The Museum District supports 19 museums, all within walking distance of each other.

Space enthusiasts will not want to miss the Space Center Houston, where you can visit NASA’s Historic Mission Control at the Johnson Space Center, just reopened. Described by the New York Times, “the restored room is a museum piece, and yet it is alive, as though engineers stepped out briefly but would be right back.” How cool is that?

No matter what makes a destination conference an adventure to you, Houston has it all.

Don’t like to stray too far from the hotel? You’re still in for a treat. The JW Marriot by the Galleria is conveniently located Uptown and directly across from the Galleria, the best mall in the city.

The Houston Zoo and Downtown Aquarium are within walking distance and a great place to take a brain break after all that learning.

See more things to do close to the hotel.

What’s more, you won’t even have to leave the hotel to experience Houston. The venue has amazing views of the Houston cityscape, a restaurant serving Texas-style cuisine, a coffee shop, and a breakfast spot.

Fitness enthusiasts, there’s a fitness center, a rooftop AND an indoor pool, well-lit workspaces and high-speed internet. BOOYAH!

So much to do and explore…. plus all of that quality learning and networking...CLN2020 is “fixin’” to be a Texas treat.
